Women In Parenthesis (wide, feathered)

This podcast was created in 2020 in collaboration with Women in Parenthesis. Women in Parenthesis is an international network of researchers highlighting the work and lives of four important thinkers in the 20th century: Mary Midgley, Iris Murdoch, Philippa Foot, and Elizabeth Anscombe.

I wrote, recorded, and produced the first five series of this podcast. Series one through four feature key ideas from each of the four philosophers, and the fifth series looks at some of the connections between the four women. Some episodes explore concepts through interviews with researchers in the Mapping the Quartet network. The sixth series is a self-guided walking tour of Oxford written by Dr. Ana Barandalla, voiced and produced by me.

Episodes are available on the Women in Parenthesis website as well as podcast platforms.

In 2021, this project received the Marie Hammond-Callaghan Women's History Prize at Mount Allison University.

This podcast was made possible thanks to a research grant from Mount Allison University.
