I interned in Current Affairs at the CBC Halifax office for one month as part of my journalism program at NSCC.

I worked as a production assistant for the Information Morning radio show. I pitched ideas, found guests, conducted pre-interviews, prepared questions, and wrote scripts for the show.

I conducted and recorded interviews for the following:

May 13, 2026: Halifax Volunteer Fair

8:14

May 15, 2026: Kids with Juvenile Arthritis at the BlueNose

8:19

June 9, 2026: Halifax Schools Bike Rodeo

7:32

The story about kids with juvenile arthritis running in the BlueNose was picked up by CBC News Halifax and played during the 6pm News on May 15. I wrote and voiced the script.

These are the rest of the interviews I helped to produce. These are recorded and conducted by the host of the show. My role for these segments was to pre-interview the guests and prepare scripts for the host.
